Lodi Dwarfing

Lodi is one of the early apples, a medium sized apple light green to greeny-yellow when ripe. Like all early apples, they just dont keep, but their sprightly flavour signifies the beginning of the apple season, and make them worth growing. Thought to be an offspring of white transparent (and Montgomery), and has probably superior in both flavour and shelf life. Originates New York 1924. Note this variety is a triploid.
