Once widely grown apple in the Tasmanian apple industry in the 1950's but there is little mention of this variety in the literature. An beautiful dark burgundy skin over green when ripe, these medium sized beauties polish to a high gloss. Pale to cream flesh and has an outstanding sweet flavour. So good that we thought it worth re-introducing this apple again.
